Sssshhhhhh...

I was just telling a friend how I always have a lot to say but never do that. I always silence my thoughts. I think I started talking from the time I was born may be even before that but sometimes that I do so much of external non sense talking that the real talking almost never happens. So I am going to do some real talking here which might eventually turn out to be a lot of non sense anyways so don't expect too much.

I am not going to go back into the past and stuff. Let me begin with writing about my trip to bangalore and mangalore in the first week of June. Well it started out quite strangely, actually quite chaotic. Who I was supposed to meet I never met and never did things I thought I would do. Like a lot of things a lot unexpected things happened during the trip and otherwise. Well as they say all is well that ends well , that's how my trip was. Though it started out on a disappointing note it went off very well.

Nothing in this world can make me happier than reading a good book. My friend (P) with whom I was going stay knew my chaotic life a little too well and very sweetly she put out couple of books for me to read just in case my lunch plan didn't happen. I ended reading a really nice book "The Kite Runner". I finished reading it in the couple of days that I was there. One wonderful journey I enjoyed every bit of it.

So trying to feel sorry for myself that my plans got messed and with my stomach making all the noises, reminded me of a friend I had ditched during one of m previous trips when mouth watering delicious food was waiting for me. Guess destiny played a pay back time with me. Anyways absolutely shameless I called this friend (M) and told him that I was sorry about the ditching and that I was coming to meet him. We agreed to meet that evening in an hours time from my call. Meeting him was a food treat for me. I am still stuck with all those calories from eating those absolutely sinful ice creams :) and since another friend also took a rain check , I forced my company on my friend who was really nice enough to treat me to more goodies and some amazing stuff, the black Russian was simply superb and so was the strong Long Island Ice Tea and oh how can I forget the shot of 12 year old single Malt and a shot of Tequila. Well if you are wondering what happened to me after that well I wasn't drunk at all , I know its hard to believe but well I am bad liar so its nothing but the truth :) So ended my day one in bangalore back at my friend P's place having a nice long chat with her and then reading "Kite Runner" till 3 AM. I wasn't complaining. In all this with a little push from M during the course of evening I ended up calling two people I never thought I would meet. Y and V both made my meeting with them very special in their own ways.

Meeting V was quite weird, not so long story but a story nevertheless. Anyways had a fantastic time with V. It is always good to connect with people whom we knew in college. Brings back fond memories. Anyways I had to meet A, another good friend with whom before that evening I had never spent too much time. Since we always met in family gatherings or things like that. Though the beer was making me sleepy somehow managed to stay awake during the long wait in her office for her. Once she came it was fun evening, with shopping and ofcourse buying a shirt for an evening that never happened! In all the excitement of shopping and other things I almost forgot that I had a bus to catch and that P would be waiting for me at home. Anyways A managed to drop me at the bus stop directly and I arranged to meet P there.

Mangalore was just awesome. No words can describe it. The temple visit to Udipi was quite good. Lord Krishna looked nice and pretty. The drive to the temple was also great. A friend was sweet enough to arrange for a cab for us. The driver was really good. He knew the right places to take us considering we didn't have much time.

On our way back from the temple he first took us to Malpe beach. It was a lovely with slight drizzle and all that. Then from there he took to us this Ganesh mandir atop a small hill. We went behind the temple and what we saw was absolute treat. Crystal blue water and wild waves smashing against huge rocks. I always felt bad about not having any artistic skills in terms of painting or writing poetry. That day I just wanted to cry. There was just beauty around , a wonderful picture that nature had painted and like always I could just look and admire. Anyways P and I just didn't want to leave. Like all good things this also came to an end and we left the place. We just saw some more places and then went to this really old Portuguese Chapel. Another wonderful piece of architecture.......Over all..........One helluva trip.....

Back in bangalore that evening .It was back to business of meeting friends again. Met Y and her friend A at M's restaurant. OH it was one hell of a giggly night. We just couldn't stop. Was meeting Y after couple of years. She was my junior in college. In college we had a lot of close friends but we never really interacted too much. It was so nice of her to decide to treat to me a nice meal. It was more than a meal. Anyways it was a fantastic evening. I wore the top A and I bought :)

So my Bangalore trip ended the next day on a quite note. I just stayed at home. Then on our way to the airport P treated to me some good ice cream. ........There ends my story.
